Big K.R.I.T. - The Vent
I never see stars on a red rug, if I want to see stars I just look above. I've been wanting to post on Big K.R.I.T. for sometime now, just haven't had the spark needed to do so. Much like other artists I respect greatly, he's a producer/emcee who's talent level is on par with some of the greats. Many compare him to the late Pimp C, but I've got a different stance. K.R.I.T.'s got an undefinable grit and charisma that presses listeners to really muddle that Mississippi music. Already dropping 3 stellar mixtapes without a label backed project to date it feels like I've stolen some of the greatest albums to come out of south since Atliens. On this track he toils with introspective thoughts on death, love, religion, and success. It's one of his deeper songs that hits home the feeling of being lost while trying to move forward.
