Horrorshow is on a whole different level. While Adit fractures beats, Solo pillages mics to create that good old fashioned golden era rap. This dynamic duo is still in their sophomore stage and it's absolutely traumatic to think the kind of everlasting imprint they will leave on hip-hop. This is the kind of song that reminds me of the early 90's when it was just so damn cool to bust a verse about how dope you were while adamantly proving it with vivid imaginary. Cunning and wise way beyond his years, Solo of Horrorshow, describes the disgust he has for the new world order. From what I understand he is only 21 years old and to have this much insight into life is really amazing. Absolutely fantastic track and what Solo may or may not realize is that he is making a difference just by creating music like this. Music has this profound ability to actually make a huge impact on society. Just by rapping about these issues it allows exposure to many. More and more often I find myself rocking Aussie Hip-Hop. For me it's been like finding a long lost cousin that quickly became closer than kin. Thanks to www.hillydilly.com (if you haven't checked out the site its one of my favorites) I just found out about M-Phazes upcoming album dropping Feb 26th).
