Mr. J Mederios - Pale Blue Dot 20Syl Remix ft. Shad

Back in 2003 I went to a show at record shop that had the Grouch and Eligh playing, the opener was a group I'd never heard of before called The Procussions. Their style was unique and something I was far from use to. After the show I did a little research on them and in all honesty kind of forget about them. Then in 2006 when Constance by Mr. J Mederios came out a flashback of the concert popped in my mind. Immediately back on my radar I had a new found respect for this extremely talented front man of the group. Again with time, an out of sight out of mind type of mentality became of Mr. J.

Now in 2012 I have no reason to ever neglect this artist again. With powerful prose like, "Silencing the religious who vandalize the themes using violence and find forgiveness..." and teaming up with one of my favorites in Shad, this is one hell of a lethal combination. Download this incredible freebie.

Lyrics: Mr. J Mederios - Pale Blue Dot ft. Shad

I was born on an island
Floating in the cosmos
With a couple of children
Who like to call it home
Just a sailing rock
Yeah a pale blue dot
Well they say we aint changed a lot since our days alone

This is the anti-extremist silencing the religious
Who vandalize the themes using violence and find forgiveness
Being chosen dying explosions minding their business
Finding frozen their bodies is over to Zion's wrist is
This is spiritually inept
This is my soliloquy I bet
This is politically correct if your politics and molotov hits don't intersect
You see the war don't convince me
You see the law I see it more as Theodore Kaczynski
You got your knees to the floor sure as a prince be
Wrapped around a block of C4 pow you're minced meat
And now you're blown at using physics
Your God is distant and don't condone it
Using mystics to bomb your critics and your opponents
You a bigot misogynistic and homophobic

I was born on an island
Floating in the cosmos
With a couple of children
Who like to call it home
Just a sailing rock
Yeah a pale blue dot
Well they say we aint changed a lot since our days alone

Things ain't changed you can't make me an unbeliever
George Bush didn't care Matt Lauer doesn't either
Till little sisters with that jungle fever for Justin Beiber
Make the color of the world Russell Peters
But still deal with this B.S.
They avoid our issues in the so-called free press
Sometimes as a black man I've got to take deep breathes
Therefore got no class dude barely got recess
I took a couple little jabs I'm composed now
They say Lebron should have never left his hometown
I say slow down we talking about draft picks
Reporters and lawyers still talking about practice
Meanwhile we just trying to keep out of caskets
Black kids keep dying all over this atlas
And that's not a racial issue that's a human issue
It's about what kind of human is you

I was born on an island
Floating in the cosmos
With a couple of children
Who like to call it home
Just a sailing rock
Yeah a pale blue dot
Well they say we aint changed a lot since our days alone
